Rail Freight Interchange, Park Street: 15 August 2013 Update, Secretary of State

The Secretary of State for the Department of Communities and Local Government stated in December 2012 that he was minded to approve Helioslough’s appeal, subject to the provision of a suitable planning obligation under section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

As yet, no new planning obligation has been received and bearing in mind the Secretary of State’s reasons for concluding he was minded to grant the appeal, he has decided to allow a further three calendar months from August 15th for the submission of a satisfactory planning obligation.
