Dear Sir/Madam,
A405 Bricket Wood Southbound Safety Improvements
We are writing to let you know about safety improvements starting on 21 March 2011 which is due to complete on 26 March 2011.
The scheme will rectify a number of surfacing defects and we will use this opportunity to improve the skid resistance on approach to the junction with the M1. The surfacing defects are affecting road safety and it is imperative that we rectify these immediately.
Work is planned to be carried out overnight to minimise disruption to road users, the works will be carried out overnight, Monday — Thursday 22:00 hrs - 05:0Ohrs, Friday 23:00hrs - 05:0Ohrs, Saturday 22:00hrs — 05:0Ohrs, Sunday 23:30hrs - O5:0Ohrs.
The works will be carried out between Junctions 21a of the M25 and Junction 6 of the M1 on the A405 southbound carriageway. Please note, there will be no access to the A405 from your road, and an alternative route will need to be taken. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause which is due to the emergency nature of this work.
