This exciting event will take place on the weekend of 13, 14, 15 May 2011, at Greenwood Park, Tippendell Lane, St. Albans.
Those taking part will be people who live and work in the Parish and it will be all inclusive.
We believe that it will help to build a sense of community, be fun and engaging, about play and self expression, have lasting impact and be an opportunity to showcase the individuals own particular artistic bent. The Festival will be biannual event starting this year with the following:
Music, Visual Arts, Art, Drama/Literature
lt is being managed by four councillors assisted by a number of enthusiasts in
each of the four areas.
Who can Take part — anyone — you don’t have to be talented it is your opportunity to showcase your talent but also to have a go, there will be workshops where you can try your hand at painting, drawing, photography, dancing, music, you may be a budding drummer or artist and if Anne Widecome can do it so can you.
Over and above that we need a number of people who are willing to lend a hand over the weekend - so if you would like to help us please get in touch.
